TITULIA CITY (TC) | RNC Candidate Julian (R-Con) has caught up and is currently ahead by one vote. However, while he has continually been behind, he has gained the most votes over a period of time. From the period ending yesterday (12 AM Today) to this article’s publication (6:52 PM US-EDT). Julian/Reformer had a net gain of +6. While Norton/Carmody had a net gain of +3. Also, VP Reformer has started participating in the forum by criticizing Norton’s stint as VP and the comparisons between their times in office brought up by Mr. Norton. However, Leah Carmody (LRP Vice-Presidential Nominee) has not yet participated in the forum. RNC Pres Candidate Julian has called out Carmody to participate.

Since "TC" doesn't understand what a "net gain" is in terms of voting, let me help you fellas out.
ReplyDeleteIn order to claim a net gain in your column you would have to pick up a vote that came away from your opponent. In Julian's case - he got zero votes that would have gone to the Norton ticket.
Whereas in the case of the Norton ticket, it picked up over DOUBLE it's projected voting base.
If you wanted to report with any sense of truth to it for a refreshing change, you would have reported we had a net swing of +11 from the Coalition, Independents, ex RNC and Libertarians - while Julian had a swing of -11 against - all from the base that he was relying on to get elected.
This would be the Titulian equivalent of losing the popular vote, but winning the electoral college vote. Had Titulia have operated in the US sense, it would be a Norton landslide.
