ALERT:McVicker states he ‘overreacted’

Over the controversy between The Linardists and Former President Dennis McVicker (L) over the disputed June 2009 Presidential Election continues as Pres. McVicker states he ‘overreacted’:

It is with great regret that I write this address to the people of Titulia.  We've seen some rather alarming changes in our republic over the last few days, the discourse has turned into a bloody fight to eliminate political enemies.  I'd be lying if I did not take personal responsibility for the condition I find my beloved Titulia in at this very moment.
I published emails sent to me by the Linardist Party because at the time I really believed they were attempting to coerce, or extort me into joining their party, upon further reflection I now believe I overreacted.
The results of this election have caused a rift that we must now repair.  We must stop these personal attacks on one another, because what has been forgotten through out this whole ordeal is the fact we are all human beings.  We must step up our debate, but shy away from personal attacks.
A proposition was put forward calling on the president to step down, I believe this course of action will only further the divide we all feel at the moment.  We must step back and take a look at what really matters, and that is Titulia.  We must realize that by destroying our political opponents we are destroying the dynamic of Titulia.
There is nothing wrong with opposing your political opponents, but the personal attacks must stop.  For those of us unhappy with the results of the last election; we must reorganize, and come into the next election stronger than we did the last one.  I have notified the president that I will be running for president come next election, and I intend to do just that.  Until then I will be pushing the agenda I set in this last election, because I know the problems facing Titulia and will do my best to address them.
Thank You
Dennis McVicker
Libertarian Party President
Long Live the Republic

OPINION/ What do you think of McVicker ‘overreacting’? What do you think of impeaching or removing Trvthseeker (W) from office?
