EXCLUSIVE:Interview with newly elected President Trvthseeker

Presidential Seal 1.Dennis McVicker was expanded the government to many offices. Would you reduce or expand Government?

I have a plan to introduce 3 cabinet ministers - Immigration, Legislator and Attorney General.  Those 3 cabinet ministers will each 3 advisors to call upon.  Plus there will be an opportunity for citizens to convene committees to accomplish particular goals for the Republic.  The first committee I plan on establishing is the 'Economic Advisory Committee'.  Citizens can initiate others if they have clear goals and outcomes defined.

  2. If elected, what is your plan for immigration?

Immigration needs to come from the grassroots.  We need a place that people want to refer their friends to.  So I want to increase activity and make Titulia a place that want to visit.  As well, I want to get the word about Titulia out there.  I will be developing a strategy with my Immigration minister about this.

3.There have been recent calls for a Congress, etc. since the Pijanowski Admin. Would you create or push towards a Congress?

I see no need for a congress right now.  We need to tighten up the proposition system a bit.  Direct democracy is working.

4.What are your plans regarding the Titulian Economy and plans to revive it?

I want to encourage innovation in the economy and ensure that those we need the resources to start a business get access to them.  This is also why I want to convene an Economic Advisory Committee, so that we can come up with ideas to revive the economy.  The key to the economy is user support.  So we need the users to get involved and use their innovative ideas to create a robust economy.

5.There have been numerous negative ads from your competitor and his allies. Do you plan on striking back? Where is your strongest support?

Politics is politics.  I took nothing personal.  There is no plans on striking back.  My strongest support came from those we believed that my ideas were the strongest and would work for Titulia.

6.Would you have a foreign policy (i.e. ambassadorships, etc) in order to attract immigrants and keep them  comfortable?

I don't plan on re-instituting ambassadorships.  I like the idea of having an Immigration/Public Relations minister.  This person and their advisors will be responsible for attracting new immigrants.

7.What is your initial goal for the Republic's future?

I want to see a functional government.  From there we can encourage activity. By paying people for working in gov't and encouraging good discussion I hope we can see a vibrant Republic.

8.Do you feel betrayed on the RNC's endorsement of you and then its switch to McVicker? Why do you think they switched endorsements?

Politics is politics.  It didn't appear to work in their favor as I think they got the raw end of the steak.

9.If elected, would you reinstate the Vice Presidency? If Yes,who would be your top 3 or 5 to be your #2?

No, I see no reason to re-instate the Vice Presidency.  I don't even have a chief of staff.  The government is small enough to handle on my own.

10.How would you rate McVicker's time in office? What would you have done differently if you won the previous election w/ Pres. Avaram?

McVicker is a good guy.  So I give him a 6 or 7 out of 10.  If I had won the previous election I would have worked at developing the institutions we established under Luxis further.
